The open day at Goyt Mill Saddlery went well . I gave about 12 shiatsu sessions and raised about £70 The total raised was about £800 ans still rising! Thanks to every one who came

Hello everybody
I have just completed and passed a course at the Glasgow School of Shiatsu in seated (on site) shiatsu. I did quite a bit of people work in my training but it was good to revise it and learn new techniques. Seated shiatsu can be done anywhere so its very handy for riders. As those of you who have experienced it will know shiatsu is very good at promoting relaxation and relieving tension. I am really interested in doing a case history on someone who thinks their nerves are affecting their performance. I could visit them and their horse and possibly do some pre competiton sessions at their chosen show venue. I would be happy to do this at a price to cover my expenses in return for publishing it (no names or photot unless you want me to use them ) in articles or in publicity . If there is anyone who competes near me and is interested please get in touch. - I am also quite happy to work on eventers and jumpers! but it seems to be the dressage nerves that gets to people.

Goyt Mill Saddlery in Upper Hibbert Lane, Marple,Cheshire SK6 7HX are having an Open Day in aid of Children in Need. I will there at least for the afternoon doing seated shiatsu sessions in return for donations and have donated a full session for horse and rider as a raffle prize. There are loads of other fantastic prizes and promotions on the day so if you are anywhere near do come along

Hi everybody and and especially to all my clients - I've met some really nice horses and people recently. Its been a long time since I posted a blog due to some technical problems but Caroline Austen who designed my website sorted it out at the weekend. If we can't get the old blogs republished I will do a new FAQS about equine shiatsu and post them on here. Hopefully life has settled down a bit now - I have given up the day job at last! and am concentrating on my shiatsu. I am off to the equine shiatsu AGM and conference soon and will post some feedback on here.
